About Libby's Market

“Baked in small batches, one starter and a lot of patience at a time.”

Libby is born and raised right here in the St. Louis area. By day, she works as a Child Life Assistant at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, helping kids and families feel a little less scared and a little more like themselves on hard hospital days — and working toward becoming a Child Life Specialist. By night and most weekends, she’s in the kitchen. Cooking has always been her thing, and there’s nothing she loves more than making people happy with a good meal — so it’s no surprise sourdough turned into the thing she couldn’t stop making, and she started sharing it, one weekly drop at a time.

When she’s not baking, she’s usually still outside — fishing, hunting, and making the most of every Missouri season. Same patience it takes to sit still at sunrise is the patience behind a 24-hour sourdough ferment.

Each week Libby posts a new drop of what she’s baking. Orders close a couple days ahead so she can bake exactly what’s needed — no more, no less — and you pick up your bread fresh, usually still warm.

Have a special occasion or need something outside the weekly menu? Send a custom order request and she’ll work with you directly.
